how were your holidays?
As first post of the new year, I chose to share with you a new tutorial.
As seen of the requests, I want to show you how to make this “envelope” clutch.
But stop talking… let’s do it!

come avete trascorso queste feste?
Come primo post dell’anno nuovo ho voluto condividere con voi un nuovo tutorial.
Viste le richieste, ho deciso di mostrarvi come creare questa clutch a forma di “busta da lettera“.
Ma andiamo al dunque!

WHAT YOU NEED:

1st STEP:
Cut a piece of leather ( or leatherette ) of the measures you prefere.
The clutch you are looking at is 35cmx25cm, so you have to cut a piece of l. of 37cmx54cm.
Then cut another square of leather which the diagonal is the same of the base of your clutch.
Fold the squared piece of leather and place it next to the clutch, so calculate where you will cut the corners.

1° FASE:
Tagliate un pezzo di pelle ( o ecopelle ) delle misure che preferite.
La clutch che state vedendo in queste foto è 35cmx25cm, quindi dovrete tagliare un pezzo di p. di circa 37cmx54cm.
Poi tagliate un pezzo di pelle quadrato la cui diagonale sia uguale alla base della vostra clutch. Piegate a metà il quadrato e poggiatelo sulla clutch, quindi calcolate dove taglierete i due angoli.

2nd STEP:
Sew the borders of the two pieces of leather and place all the items on them ( the metal corner and the clips )… it’s very easy!
Then sew the triangle on the upper border of your clutch!

2° FASE:
Cucite entrambi i pezzi di pelle e aggiungetevi tutti i dettagli ( ossia l’angolino in metallo e i bottoncini )… è facilissimo!
Poi cucite il triangolo sul bordo superiore della clutch!

3rd STEP:
Cut a piece of satin and a piece of cotton with an adesive side and iron them together. Then fold the fabric and sew it as your clutch. Place it into your clutch and sew the clutch, the fabric and the zipper together and…

3° FASE:
Tagliate un pezzo di satin ed uno di cotone adesivo e stirateli assieme. Quindi piegate a metà il tessuto e cucitene i lati come la vostra borsa. Ponetelo all’interno della clutch e cucite assieme pelle,tessuto e la zip e…
